Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • ¾ cup almonds badam
  • ¾ cup cashews
  • ½ cup dry dates chuara
  • ½ cup sliced dry coconut
  • ¼ cup besan gram flour
  • cups wheat flour atta
  • 1 cup jaggery powder

Flavor Enhancers:

  • ½ tsp ginger powder
  • ½ tsp cardamom powder

Optional Add-ons:

  • 3 tbsp gond edible gum, powdered
  • 2 tbsp raisins
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp poppy seeds

Instructions
 

Prepare Dry Fruits:

  • Heat 2 tbsp ghee in a heavy-bottomed pan.
  • Fry almonds, cashews, and dry dates separately until golden brown.
  • Roast sliced dry coconut lightly.
  • Let them cool completely, then grind into a coarse powder.

Roast the Flour:

  • In the same pan, heat ¼ cup ghee and roast besan on low flame until golden and aromatic.
  • Gradually add wheat flour, mixing and roasting evenly.
  • Add another ¼ cup ghee and roast until the mixture turns a rich golden-brown color.

Incorporate Gond:

  • Add 3 tbsp gond (edible gum) and roast until it puffs up and turns crystal-like.
  • Mix in raisins, sesame seeds, and poppy seeds.

Combine Ingredients:

  • Transfer the roasted flour mixture to a large mixing bowl.
  • Add prepared dry fruit powder, ginger powder, and cardamom powder. Mix thoroughly.
  • Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then add jaggery powder and mix well to combine.

Shape the Ladoos:

  • While the mixture is warm, take small portions and shape them into round balls.
  • Let the ladoos cool completely before storing them in an airtight container.

  • Add jaggery when the mixture has cooled slightly to avoid it melting.
